Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge is located just above the resort's main chairlifts, making us a convenient hotel for skiers, providing you with a slope side ski-in, ski-out hotel. We are located on 3220 Village Way. Take the main road (Creekside Way) until the stop sign. Turn left on Village Way. The lodge is the first building on your right-hand side. Driving Directions
From Kamloops, BC: Starting from Trans Canada Highway 1 eastbound, take the Highway 5 North exit to Jasper. You will pass 3 sets of traffic lights en route.
Then look for signs to Heffley Creek & Sun Peaks. Duration from Hwy 1 to Heffley Creek turn-off: approximately 20 minutes.
Turn right at Heffley Creek and take the first left at the General Store (see directional sign for Sun Peaks). Proceed along this two-lane, paved road up the mountain all the way into the resort village. Duration from General Store to Sun Peaks Resort village: approximately 25 minutes.
From the Kelowna Airport:
Turn right out of the airport onto Highway 97 North. Stay on this highway through Vernon; you will drive through the city along the main road.
Turn left towards Kamloops, 10 km after the first traffic light in Vernon; you will still be on Highway 97 North. This highway ends almost an hour (79 km) later; you will pass through Falkland and Westwold along the way.
Stay in the left lane and take the Highway 1 westbound exit. 26 km ahead, take the Highway 5 North exit to Jasper.
Follow the directions as above 'From Kamloops.’ Distance and duration from Kelowna Airport to Highway 5 North turnoff: approximately 1.75 hours.
From Vancouver, BC:
Take Trans Canada Highway 1 eastbound from Vancouver to Hope.
Once in Hope, choose from 2 options to get to Kamloops: Coquihalla Highway (5)* or Highway 1 Eastbound. Drive to Kamloops. Follow the directions as above 'From Kamloops’. Duration from Vancouver to Kamloops: approximately 3.5 hours on the Coquihalla Highway, 4.25 hours on Hwy 1. *The Coquihalla Highway is a toll highway; $10 per car, SUV or pick-up truck.
From Whistler:
Take Highway 99 north through Pemberton to Mt. Currie and turn right/east to Lillooet and follow through to Hat Creek Ranch/Cache Creek on Highway 97.
In Cache Creek turn left east onto Highway 1, and proceed to Kamloops. Follow the directions as above 'From Kamloops.’ Duration from Whistler Village to Kamloops: approximately 3.75 hours.
From Seattle:
Take I-5 North to Bellingham, exit on Meridian Street heading East and then head North toward the Sumas border crossing.
Once in Canada, take the Trans Canada Highway 1 eastbound to Hope. Follow the directions as above 'From Vancouver’ beginning in Hope. Duration from downtown Seattle to US / Canada border crossing: approximately 2.25 hours.
From Banff/Salmon Arm/Chase
We recommend you do not take the back road from Chase to Sun Peaks. Your GPS might send you over this dirt road as it is faster by the way of the crow. The road can be rough, snowing and mudding during the Spring and Fall Season. During the winter the road is closed. Please follow Highway 1 to Kamloops. Follow the directions from Kamloops.
From Jasper/Blue River/Clearwater
Take Highway 5 towards Kamloops turn left at Heffley Creek and take the next left at the General Store (see directional sign for Sun Peaks). Proceed along this two-lane, paved road up the mountain all the way into the resort village. Duration from General Store to Sun Peaks Resort village: approximately 25 minutes.
